Friendship is like wine (err — *cough* vodka *cough*); they better through age.
Haha. Far from the point I am trying to put across. Pardon. It is the intoxicated hand typing. I am saying is that,
[we] friends do not have to see each other every time to nurture bonds.
Tantamount to what my friend¹ told me when she was trying to abstain from someone's² demand of superfluous phone calls and hang outs.
Conversely, we convene and frolic to keep our kindred spirits in check. This may come about every less often, so we make sure to indulge. So much so that plummeting bank accounts, bulging stomach, infinite chitchat galore, unplanned pit stops and flying time are irregardless.
Case in point:
- planned Chinese food dining in Imperial Buffet
- last minute inserted shopping in an outlet store, Winners, before above
- and random decision to stop at a local pub, The Beaver and Firkins after the above above — why is beyond me, but must be the skyrocket calories and intake of food drowning in oyster/soya sauce.
Here are the only iphone documented moments of gaiety (click photos to enlarge):
pitcher of coors light, redbull, jägermeister, indai and rachelle
wendy's...
returning pingu/happy feet to his/her family
so long penguin...
one of the best dialogue of the night:
''...okay lang maging girlfriend mo si Angelica Joey pero mukha mo munggo''
(something like that)
-Joan
Angelica Joey who?
We may all live a couple of blocks or streets away from each other, but it's as if we are continents apart. Seeing each other is costly (proofs above) and requires booking off. But when we do, nothing hinders us from doing whatever pops in our head. To my friends [Joan, Rachelle and Indai] which all things are spontaneous, imprompt and random: I had fun. 'Til the next break.
xoxo
